DCPL Autumn 2017 will commence on Saturday 9th September in Tallaght Sports Complex (Community School) at 6.45pm. We will have Div 1, 2, 3A & 3B with 7 teams each. Registration is now closed!

Now that the league is active, all secretaries must update your players Canoeing Ireland membership details as soon as possible. Usual rules regarding valid CI memberships will apply without exception. Now that CI membership is all done online, you'll be asked to upload a picture of each players membership to the site.

Notification emailed to all secretaries:

Thank you for entering your team in to the Autumn 2017 season of the Dublin Canoe Polo League (DCPL).
Please note that due to a high number of entries, we cannot guarantee the division you have selected will be the division you play in.
One thing is for sure, the standard of polo in the league this season is quite high - exciting stuff!

Once the teams are all entered and we set the league to active, there'll be some admin that needs to be done.
Please read all the details below carefully to ensure you have all the info you need.

All teams need to be updated fully by 1st September. The following info for each player is required:

To verify this, a picture of the players online CI card will need to be uploaded to the website. If players are found to not be registered with the Canoeing Ireland, they will not be allowed play AND will forfeit their game for the team too.

What else do you need to know?
- Games will be 8 minutes a half but if teams can't stick to the timetable, they will need to be reduced to 7 mins. We will have to be very strict on start times and ask for your co-operation to ensure that games do not over run. Any team not on the water at their given timeslot will concede a goal a minute up to 3 minutes at which time the match will be abandoned. In the event that a previous match has run over, a team will have 3 minutes to get on the water and be ready to start.
- This is a new pool so we ask that all teams be respectful and ensure your boats are clean before coming in to the pool.
- At this moment in time, there is no boat storage onsite and teams will need to provide their own boats. If teams require the use of other clubs equipment, please contact the clubs directly.
